Tunze Hydrofoamer Silence 9410.044 DC – original DC skimmer pump with adjustable output

If you want stable, efficient protein skimming — without unnecessary noise, the Tunze Hydrofoamer Silence 9410.044 DC is a very safe choice. This is an electronically controlled DC hydrofoamer with a TUNZE® PM motor and Turbelle® controller, allowing you to fine-tune the performance to match bioload, sump water level, and the skimming style you prefer (“dry” vs. “wet” skimmate).

The pump is designed for the TUNZE® DOC Skimmer series and is used, for example, in the DOC Skimmer 9410 DC (original configuration). Tunze also states that the Hydrofoamer Silence can be used as a replacement for needle-wheel pumps on other suitable skimmers.
