The rear filtration section is built directly into the tank, so you get overflow, mechanical, biological and chemical filtration in one clean package. No external sump or complex plumbing is required, which makes setup much faster and safer for beginners while still offering enough flexibility for advanced reefers.

Rear filtration layout

• Filter sock chamber
– Houses felt filter socks (2.75″) to trap fine particles, uneaten food and detritus before they break down and affect water quality.

• Media / skimmer chamber
– Sized to fit sponge, bio balls or ceramic media and optional small skimmer or other equipment. This is the core of your biological and chemical filtration.

• Pump chamber
– Dedicated return section with enough room for a variety of return pumps, making it easy to choose the flow rate and brand you prefer. Note: return pump is not included, giving you full control over your equipment choice.
